Better to be kingmaker than king
There is a sentence that has always pushed me to move forward until now, one that came from my own father:
"Awas, diawasi, mengawasi.”
The meaning of that sentence is: you must always be aware, disciplined, and self-monitoring even when no one is telling you what to do or watching you directly.
